Terms of Service
Effective date: March 1, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating a Bluejay Relay account or using the Bluejay Relay webhook routing platform (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Bluejay Relay is a webhook middleware platform that receives, validates, transforms, and forwards HTTP payloads to destinations you configure. Features vary by subscription tier. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature with reasonable notice.
3. Accounts and Organizations
You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You may not share credentials or allow unauthorized access. Accounts are organized into Organizations; each user may belong to one or more organizations.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, are inactive for extended periods (per our inactivity policy), or are associated with fraudulent activity.
4. Subscription Plans and Billing
Bluejay Relay offers the following plans, each with different capabilities:

Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance. Payments are processed by Stripe. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.
Failed payments will trigger dunning emails. Accounts unpaid for 14 days may be downgraded to the Free plan automatically.
5. Log Retention and Data Deletion
Webhook and delivery logs are retained for the number of days specified by your active plan (see Section 4). Logs older than your plan's retention window are automatically and permanently deleted. Downgrading to a lower tier will subject existing logs to the shorter retention period at the next scheduled cleanup.
We do not archive logs beyond your retention window. You are responsible for exporting any log data you need to retain longer.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Bluejay Relay to:
- Transmit illegal content or content that violates third-party rights
- Launch denial-of-service attacks or send malicious payloads
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or exploit the platform
- Circumvent rate limits, tier restrictions, or authentication controls
- Resell or sublicense access to the platform without authorization
- Transmit personal health information (PHI) or payment card data (PCI) unless you have entered a separate data processing agreement with us
We may immediately suspend accounts found violating these policies without refund.
7. Rate Limits and Fair Use
Each plan includes rate limits on webhook ingestion (requests per minute per webhook). Exceeding limits results in HTTP 429 responses. Sustained abuse of the platform beyond plan limits may result in throttling or account suspension.
8. Intellectual Property
Bluejay Relay retains all rights to the platform, its codebase, brand, and documentation. You retain all rights to your data and payload contents. You grant Bluejay Relay a limited, non-exclusive license to process your data solely to provide the Service.
9. Availability and SLA
We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for downtime caused by third-party providers, infrastructure failures, or events outside our reasonable control. Enterprise customers may be eligible for a separate SLA; contact us for details.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Bluejay Relay'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Bluejay Relay and its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
13. Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement at any time. You may close your account via account settings or by contacting support. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (Sections 10–12) will do so.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Delaware.
15. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email with at least 14 days' notice. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
